I said no, I prefer to go through things carefully myself. They kept pushing though. Turns out it’s just a call centre scam. I’ve reported them to the proper authorities. Whatever you do, don’t hand over your personal details to them.

I work as a financial adviser and thought I'd answer the call just to have a bit of fun and waste their time. I threw a bunch of tricky questions at them trying to catch them out, but after around 15 minutes I told them I already had a workplace pension and wasn’t interested, and asked to be removed from their call list. Guess what? They rang me again the very next day. Turns out they’re a pension firm hunting for clients, so please, don’t share any personal details with them.
