Got a call from some home improvement firm. When I said I'd never heard of them and asked who exactly they were, the caller just dodged the question. Suddenly, they said I'd done a survey, which I totally hadn't. When I told them that, they just went quiet and didn’t say a thing.

Energy Plus called me asking to confirm my name and that I lived in Blackpool. That’s completely wrong, I live in Manchester. I told them I wasn’t interested, but they just kept going. They dont leave a message, but the calls keep coming, often twice a day or even up to five or six times. Ive blocked the number and reported it to the TPS as unwanted, but lets be honest, that hardly seems to make a difference. The government really need to take stronger action against these firms instead of just passing laws that dont get enforced and leaving it to the companies to control themselves.
