Its an insurance comparison firm callin me from a bunch of variations of the same 0333 212 prefix number every time. When I called back, it was some automated voice, and if you press 1, you supposedly can put in your phone number to be taken off their list. Not sure if it really works tho.

Nice lady called saying they’re working in my part of town and offered a free heat loss inspection for my doors and windows (she actually knew my name, address, postcode, and that I own the place). She said it was for windows and doors older than 10 years. Told her mine aren’t, so she thanked me for the chat, wished me a nice day and hung up. Sounds like someone new on the job!

Said they were with some 'Energy Efficiency' scheme and “part funded,” but when I asked twice where the rest of the funding was from, they just brushed it off. Said they’d done work on windows and insulation down my road. Didn’t like it one bit when I told them exactly where to shove it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from an "Energy Saving Service" about heat escaping from my windows. They already knew my name and that I own the place. When I mentioned my windows being over 10 years old, I instantly clocked it was a dodgy double glazing or energy company trick. Told them I can't afford new windows, then hung up while they were trying to talk their way out of it. Number’s blocked now.

I received a call from this number where the person had an Asian accent, possibly speaking Urdu, Hindi, or Punjabi. The conversation took a rather unpleasant turn as they began to hurl insults and mock me over the phone. It's crossed my mind to contact the police about this. The caller was quite evasive too; they didn’t mention which company they were affiliated with and abruptly ended the call when they realised I was attempting to record our exchange.
