Got a call from a guy with a strong Scottish accent claiming it was about a home improvements survey I supposedly did a while back - which I never did! Then he said I’d won £1000 for a new kitchen but needed my details like my credit card info. I just kept quiet and waited till he saw he wasn’t going to get anything and hung up. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. THEY WANT YOUR BANK DETAILS! ! !

I received a call from someone who claimed they were following up because I had shared my postcode earlier on while at B&Q, which I had done about twenty minutes prior with a cashier. The chap, who had a distinct Scottish twang, mentioned he was calling from Scotland and announced that I had supposedly won a voucher for a makeover in either my bedroom or bathroom. He was keen to arrange for a representative to come round for a visit. I politely informed him that now wasn't a suitable time for me, to which he replied that he'd reach out again in a fortnight.

Some bloke said he was from DM Designs, said I’d done a survey about home improvements and that they had reps nearby. I told him I hadn’t done any survey and then I just hung up. What freaked me out is he had the right postcode and all my info.

Well, she didn’t get far before I told her to think about the fact it’s Sunday and to bloody well stop calling me. Number’s blocked now, though they keep switching it up every once in a while to try again. To Samantha and any other annoying pest reading this, save yourself the hassle - you’ll be shown the door with a cheeky earful or worse.

I picked up me phone and some woman called Samantha said, "Hello Mr ####, this is Samantha from Home surveys or something like that," with loads of noise in the background. Before she could say more, I told her it's Sunday and told her to buzz off and never call again. Number's blocked now, but they keep switching numbers to get through. A message for Samantha and any other annoying lot reading this - don’t even try, you’ll get told off with no messing about.

Got a call saying I’d won a trip and just had to verify some security info and put down a credit card deposit. When I said no to sharing my details, they got really rude, cursing and joking about sending me taxis and ordering takeaway. I told them that actually sounds perfect as I’m a bit hungry and was just about to grab a taxi to the 'whisky a go go'.
