I encountered a similar situation as the previous reviewer - yet another pitch for a complimentary financial seminar. When I inquired about how he obtained my number, especially since I'm ex-directory, he responded quite curtly. Felt a bit shifty, to be honest!

I received a call from a gentleman around midday today. He spent quite a while rambling on before getting to the point-he was extending an invite to a complimentary financial seminar. He mentioned that there's quite the buzz about it, especially with the interest rates being so low at the moment. However, when I asked him to send me an information pack through the post, he flatly refused. This whole thing has the whiff of a scam written all over it, and I'd strongly suggest steering clear of it.

A rather unpleasant chap was attempting to lure my elderly parents into a complimentary “investment seminar.” When I answered the phone to inquire about how he obtained their contact details, his demeanour shifted dramatically; he became quite aggressive and disrespectful.
