Today around 3.20pm this number called us but when we picked up, no one spoke. However, I could still hear voices in the background.

Just got a call at about 7.30pm on 2nd March 2017. An elderly woman said she was ringing about my Sky gear and wanted to offer a cheaper renewal on my protection plan. I asked if she was really from Sky, she said yes and said she could arrange a new monthly direct debit at a lower price. I told her I’d been tricked a few years back - a younger woman claiming she was from Sky took my bank details but no 9-something quid monthly payments ever came through. Instead, two payments of £60 vanished from my account within a couple of months. I only found out once Sky got in touch to renew my actual policy. I mentioned all this to the older lady and hinted she might unintentionally be working for con artists but she just put the phone down. No surprises there.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from my Sky TV insurance. I told them they were mistaken and then they just hung up on me.

Had a call from a woman with a strong Irish accent, but honestly I couldn’t catch what she was saying at all. I picked up something about a TV cover or something like that, but then she just hung up.
