Phone number ☎️ 03332027722 👆 is reported as a scam linked to unsolicited premium rate texts and subscriptions, often triggered by entering seemingly legitimate competitions online. Victims are charged weekly fees without clear consent, typically around £4.50, significantly increasing phone bills. The company behind it, often identified as Xinwin Ltd or related aliases, uses multiple numbers and evasive tactics. Affected individuals are urged to report to regulators like Ofcom, Action Fraud, and ICO, while seeking refunds through official complaint channels. Vigilance is essential to avoid these deceptive practices and prevent financial loss via mobile accounts.

Honestly, I can't believe how dreadful this situation is! Since January, I've been inundated with these messages on my phone, and it didn't dawn on me that they were racking up charges until today when 02 siphoned off a significant chunk of my funds. Is there any way I can recover some of that money?

I really need these texts to stop coming in every single week! It's been nearly ten months of being charged every Tuesday, and I would like my money back, please!

Just a quick note for everyone regarding this phone number. It’s really important that you get in touch with your mobile network provider and have the number blocked immediately. I've found out that this outfit is also operating under a couple of other numbers, 700046067 and 88227, so if you come across those, don't hesitate to block them too. The culprits go by the name XINION LTD, and they’ve got a dodgy website: xiequire.xinwin.co.uk. Be very cautious if they request your banking information. It’s wise to consult your bank first to prevent any unauthorised withdrawals from this company. Only accept money that’s going into your account and do so with caution-if they even bother to respond.

I can’t say I’ve ever signed up for any competitions using my phone, yet here I am facing these pesky charges! It’s incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know how I can put a stop to this? I've tried messaging to opt-out, but it seems to be falling on deaf ears! This really needs sorting out.

I find myself entangled in this web of deceptive messages, and when I reached out to Vodafone for clarity, they pointed me towards Xinwin instead. Rather oddly, when I pressed Vodafone on how our paths crossed, they were utterly vague and unhelpful, leaving me more confused than ever. It seems that getting in touch with them could lead to even more complications. How on earth can we put an end to this nonsense?

I’ve found myself in quite the predicament - apparently, I’ve been signed up to this so-called “service” for more than a year without even realising it! It feels like a right con, as I certainly never gave my consent. They keep insisting they’ve sent me messages regarding how to unsubscribe, but I’ve disregarded them entirely since I was never aware that I was even enrolled in the first place!

I'm utterly fed up with these incessant messages! I never signed up for anything, so why on earth should I be paying for their texts? They’re charging me a ridiculous £4.50 per week until I send ‘stop’, but I've done that multiple times! Yet, I keep receiving the same drivel. Now they’ve blocked me from replying with ‘stop’ - it’s infuriating! I've already forked out £20 because of them. Can anyone advise me on how to get these nuisances to finally leave me alone?

I’m absolutely fed up with these incessant messages! I never subscribed to any service, so why on earth am I being charged £4.50 each week for their unsolicited texts? I've already messaged ‘stop,’ yet they keep bombarding me with the same rubbish. To make matters worse, they've blocked my replies, so I can't even tell them to quit it! This has already cost me a whopping £20.0. Can someone please advise me on how to put an end to this madness?

Usually, my monthly bill hovers around £25, but it's shot up to a staggering £68! I'm rather miffed about this and would like to request a refund. I did participate in a competition once without realising that it led to extra charges being taken from my account.

I got in touch with Lidl and noticed a promotion where you could win £500 in Tesco vouchers. Shortly after, I got a text telling me I'd signed up to pay £4.50 each month just for entering this contest. It wasn’t made clear at all, even if it might’ve been buried in the terms and conditions. Beware of the number 88227; it's a total scam. I found myself £100 worse off thanks to my phone provider. Initially, I noticed these dubious charges for receiving messages from them. Even after blocking the number, they’ve started bombarding me with texts from different mobile numbers. It's a right nuisance!

Avoid the number 88227 at all costs, it’s definitely a scam. I got ripped off by about £100 thanks to my phone company charging me for texts I didn’t ask for. I was tricked by a competition scam after inadvertently clicking a link in what I thought was a trustworthy app. The offer was for a complimentary Samsung device. Upon entering my details, I was prompted to provide my mobile number, and shortly after, I received a message informing me I’d be charged £4.50 per week, along with a few other texts. The number responsible for this nuisance is 88227, and each message incurs that pesky fee. Thankfully, Vodafone has taken action by blocking incoming premium messages, which I hope puts an end to this hassle. But is there a way to completely prevent these scammers from contacting me?

I've been duped by this scam to the tune of more than £30! I've texted 'STOP' three times, only to get messages back saying it was all cancelled. But lo and behold, mere hours later, I've lost £4.50. Then, the very next day, the same annoying routine occurred with yet another £4.50 disappearing just 24 hours after I topped up £10.00. It's absolutely maddening to discover that £9.00 has been taken unlawfully! I've tried to hunt down a refund on their site, but it seems impossible to navigate. We’ve blocked the number in question, yet they’re still managing to dip into our account through our service provider, costing us a whopping £22.50 each month. I chose not to follow that link, mind you. However, today brought another unwelcome surprise: a text offering me a chance to win a Tesco voucher! It posed a question about New York’s subway track length and requested a reply with either A or B to the number 88227, ending with an oddly reassuring “Help? 03332027722”. What steps can I take to put a stop to this nonsense?

I never requested this nor do I desire it; is there a way to put an end to it?

I've found myself in quite the predicament as I've been inappropriately billed for a text service that I neither requested nor desire. I’ve never signed up for it, either in the past or now. I'm currently exhausting all possible routes to secure a refund, especially as I'm locked in a dispute with O2 regarding my phone bill right now. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you might offer in this matter. Thank you ever so much! If needed, you can reach me at [email protected].

I've fallen prey to a scam too. They've taken more than £100 from me. I reached out to O2 in hopes of blocking that number, but they informed me that I need to speak directly with the scammer. The issue is, I can't seem to get through to them at all! Can someone please assist me?

Beware, this phone number belongs to a fraudster! I’ve found myself out of pocket by £18.00 for some so-called premium information services, and another £11.25 just to stop messages from 82288. My mobile plan is with O2, and I’ve informed them about this dodgy scheme, yet they appear to be turning a blind eye while it goes on unchallenged.

I feel compelled to flag this particular number because whenever you try to give them a ring, they provide an email address that appears to be non-existent. Quite perplexing, if you ask me!

I find myself in a rather troubling situation with this so-called service. I dialled the number that was sent to me via text, and they claim I've been removed from their system. However, I'm still feeling quite uneasy about the whole affair and will be keeping a close eye on things.

Utterly appalling! One must exercise extreme caution with these rogues! Should you find yourself a victim of their deceitful practices, it’s crucial to lodge a complaint with Action Fraud, the ICO, and Ofcom. They’re nothing more than opportunistic thieves preying upon those who are most susceptible. Their company name is Xinion Ltd, located at 290 Moston Lane, Manchester, M40 9WB. If you feel the need to express your grievances, you can attempt to reach them at [email protected], though don’t hold your breath for a response!

I've noticed that I'm being billed £4.50 each week, and I can't seem to put a stop to it. Oddly enough, my phone balance is running low as well-so I'm baffled as to how they keep taking money!

I’ve been attempting to sign up for a membership, but it appears to be a complete con. Sad to say, I’m lacking any credit and yet keep receiving messages that want to siphon money from me. I've also stumbled upon a spammy email from [email protected], and there seems to be some connection to a name called Xwin in the texts. I've tried texting STOP to 82288, but it just doesn’t go through. Quite frustrating, I must say!

I recently filled out a survey that popped up on my device, and before I knew it, I received a couple of PIN codes-one supposedly for an Apple Watch and another for an Asda voucher. Within an hour, I noticed a £9 deduction from my phone credit. It's all quite ridiculous, if you ask me. I attempted to text "STOP" to the number given, but alas, that message just won't send. How frustrating! - Anonymous

A mate of mine has been receiving messages lately from a certain number, and she's convinced that it’s racked up over £20 in charges on her phone. I've gone ahead and tagged the number as spam, so fingers crossed she’ll stop getting those texts. If anyone's got a reliable method to completely block this nuisance, your assistance would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

My eleven-year-old daughter got roped into some competition, and now these unscrupulous folks are siphoning off £4.50 repeatedly. It’s maddening! I’m seriously contemplating changing her phone number since nobody seems to respond to our inquiries or put an end to this nonsense. It's absolutely infuriating that they can get away with such tactics!

I’ve noticed a charge of approximately £30 on my account. Could anyone advise me on how I can reclaim my funds? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I was completely oblivious to the fact I’d signed up for a competition! Tesco suggested that I call this number to request they cease the withdrawals from my account. They assured me they would, but I have my doubts about how straightforward that truly is. I was also told to send a text saying STOP to 82288, but it just wouldn’t go through. BT claims there's no illegality at play and that they can't step in.

They operate under the names Panther Play and Pound to Play and are situated in Northwich, Cheshire. My advice is to contact your mobile network provider and ask them to block all "premium rate numbers." After that, ensure they send a "STOP" notice to this lot. Best of luck reclaiming those £4.50 charges per text from them-it’s turning out to be quite the challenge! I reckon it would make for an excellent feature on programmes like WatchDog or Rogue Traders over on the BBC.

As a retired individual, I've unfortunately fallen victim to a rather dodgy scheme claiming I’d won a free iPad. It seems that my mobile bill has unexpectedly surged, courtesy of EE. I was assured a text would arrive with instructions on how to rectify this, but alas, nothing has come through. Could anyone offer some swift guidance? This added expense is simply beyond my means, and it's truly stressing me out.

I’ve noticed a charge of £18 monthly that seems to be sneaking off my phone bill. I really expected my TalkTalk mobile to have nipped this in the bud. I've let them know about it, and all they've offered is a measly £5 credit as a sort of good will gesture. It’s hardly enough to make me feel valued as a customer!

Absolutely, I’ve been inundated with pesky text messages as well. I sent a ‘stop all’ text on the 8th of July 2015, and they confirmed my request almost immediately. However, just two days later, I got yet another message and was hit with an additional charge of £4.50!
