5 monthsI got a call about a ‘prizes and puzzles’ contest that I entered three times. Each time, the call dropped and they said they’d call me again, but never did. Seems a bit dodgy to me. They said they’d be sending a cheque through the post, but the number calling wasn’t the same as the one from the contest. Doesn’t sit right at all.5 monthsGot a call from someone talking about a ‘competition’ they said was on the telly. They already knew the answer I gave, which was a bit fishy. Then they said they’d be sending me some ‘free’ lottery tickets and puzzle books, but asked for my debit or credit card info to cover a £1.95 postage fee. I told them I didn’t have my card handy, and they said they’d call back later. Thankfully, the call never came - dodged a bullet there, I think!5 monthsLoads of calls came through from this number and every time I answer, the line just goes dead. I’ve gone ahead and blocked every single one of them now.7 monthsThey ring me loads of times daily. Like they say, I’ve apparently won something but need to give card info for the delivery fee.
