Got a call about some old pensioner supposedly winning a TV contest. Luckily, a family member stepped in and cut the call short. Felt like they were trying to scam a vulnerable older person.

Someone rang me saying they were from that lottery competition I’d seen on telly. They said I’d won a load of stuff - like 30 lottery tickets, euro lotto entries, and some raffle tickets too. They insisted they’d send it all in a parcel but I needed to cover the postage cost with Royal Mail. Then they asked for my bank details, including sort code and security pin! I just said no way, cheers.

Whenever I see my phone tag a number as possible spam, I'm pretty wary and just let it ring out. I've never had anyone leave a voicemail on those calls anyway.

I got a call on my home phone from this number, but when I answered, there was total silence. Looking it up here made me wary, but I have no idea how to block it from ringing on my landline.

Got a call from someone saying I’d won something in a word search contest, which I actually did enter. She said I was chosen for a draw and wished me luck, but the whole thing felt a bit weird. I didn’t fully trust it, so I just blocked the number to be safe.

Got a call from this number saying I'd bagged some raffle and lottery tickets but they wanted £1.95 for shipping. I said no thanks, and the woman on the line was pretty cheeky. Ended up blocking it.

Following up from what I said yesterday - they tried to charge me 6 times the day before and once again this morning. Luckily I have them blocked so none of the charges went through, but they are really relentless. I gave them a one-off card from Revolut, which Revolut stopped when they tried to save the info. After that, they asked for my sort code and account number to do a direct debit, but I said no. They kept insisting they weren’t storing my details, but obviously they were. Just a warning to watch out!

Somebody called saying I'd won a prize in a contest, but I needed to pay £1.75 for postage first. I attempted to pay with a disposable Revolut card, but Revolut stopped it because they were trying to save my card info, even though they said they wouldn’t. In the end, I said no thanks to the prize.

I got three calls today showing up as spam, all the numbers were the same except for the last figure. No voicemail left and no clue who it could be.
