I can assure you that this isn't a fraudulent call; it's genuinely from the Bank of Scotland. I received their call after attempting to make a transaction outside the UK. They were merely checking in to verify that it was indeed me using my card. I even confirmed this through a chat with their customer service online.

This is mad, sounded exactly like the bloke who called me from 01438590126. No way someone legit is offering Blow Jobs and stuff for only £30 an hour - way more expensive in reality, definitely some kind of scam, maybe blackmail or summat? Either way, I’m marking it as dodgy like the others. But gotta admit, the lad did sound quite charming on the phone.

This isn’t a scam call!!! If your bank is with this company, don’t block the number. Check out comment 3 below for more info. Always take messages from your bank seriously, but stay cautious and don’t just blindly trust them. The comment below clears it up.

At first we figured it was a scam, but turns out it’s actually a legit number for Bank of Scotland debit card fraud. We checked with the Bank of Scotland through Facebook Messenger to be sure.

Was trying to order something from Asda online but my card kept getting declined. I triple-checked the card info and there was definitely enough money in my account. Then, out of nowhere, I got a call from this number saying they were from Halifax bank. I didn’t believe it for a second and just put the phone down right away.

If your bank tries to reach you, don’t just brush it off. That said, don’t just take for granted it’s actually them. Best thing to do is ring up your bank using the number found on the back of your card to be sure.
