Got a call from someone wanting to sort out my gas and electric renewal, but they couldn’t even tell me which company they were with! Then, out of nowhere, they just ended the call. Proper dodgy folks, probably hoping to trick older people who might not be sure what’s going on. Just hung up straight away.

I got a call where they kept talking about some bitcoin trading thing and asked me to join their trading site. It felt so sketchy, definitely one of those common scams. Just a heads up, don’t get tricked by stuff like this! Stay safe out there.

Absolute thieves, liars and scammers, the lot of them. Kept getting calls from these losers, kept hoping I’d catch a decent one, but no luck. This latest guy reckoned his name was "Mart" and that he should have been busy serving my poppadoms or something. Then he went on about renewing my British Gas or electric contract - where the hell is BG when you actually need them? We don’t even have a contract with BG! They kept ringing back again and again, proper harassment. What a bunch of wankers!

Got a call from a finance firm trying to pitch me a car loan quote. Not really what I was expecting, just wanted to check who it was first.

If you ask them about any finance options, expect a ring from them. Their main aim is just to give you a quote. They most likely got your number from you if they are calling.

Today, this number has called me twice and also sent a couple of messages. The texts tried to make out they knew me but got my first name wrong. It's from some loan business I’ve never dealt with before.
