Hey, just to say this number is actually the customer service line from the Laithwaites site, I used it myself yesterday 15/2/24 to sort out my wine order. I can’t really speak on those annoying cold calls as I haven’t had any from them. But I’m pretty sure this isn’t some kind of scam. A bit of advice, never buy anything straight from Facebook ads - if you fancy something, always check their official website properly and make your purchase through their proper shop. Stay safe!

Laithwaites wine calls people who have bought from them before, just to let you know about deals; it’s not a scam since you gave them your number when you asked about or bought stuff. I’ve bought wine a few times after getting a call from this number and it arrived quickly and at a decent price, other times I just said no thanks. If you don’t want to get these calls anymore, you can reach out to them and ask to take your number off their marketing list.

This number is from Laithwaites/Sunday Times wine club, so it’s legit. Even so, I keep getting calls through the day while I’m busy with work (even tho I told them before to stop). I think I’ll have to block it soon cos I don’t really need to buy more wine, already get a case every few months anyway.

They rang my work phone when I wasn’t in and didn’t leave a voicemail. Then they kept ringing my mobile a few times. Got one voicemail that was hard to understand because of the strong accent, saying something like I might get some compensation. I’m pretty certain it’s a load of rubbish, probably a scam.
