This number rang my home phone but as soon as I answered and said hi, the call dropped. Pretty irritating.

I received a message that claimed to be from my bank regarding a transaction of £3486, but something didn't sit right with me. The fact they used GBP instead of the pound sign raised red flags. It’s interesting, as I’ve just returned from a trip to India where I did use my card, so I can’t help but think that might be how they got my number. Just to clarify, I don't engage in online banking at all.

Got a text saying it was from "support" but it felt like one of those dodgy scams right away. It said something like "Barclays: Please confirm a payment of £3480 to B&Q stores, ring us on 03330129356.DH" Honestly, it’s the kind of thing that’d trick folks who aren't paying attention into calling and maybe giving away private details. Barclays texts definitely don’t come off like that - looks totally fishy to me.
