My trusty phone protector prevented this call from getting through, marking it as a likely scam attempt. I went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

About ten minutes ago I got a call from 03330067712, the bloke said his name was John. He asked if I’m over 50 and mentioned something about a medical alarm I might qualify for. I tried asking him a question but he just dodged it, so I hung up. Honestly, I’d recommend you lot do the same and just ignore it.

Got a call from Medical Alert saying their records showed I qualified for their service. But if they already had that info, why did they need to ask how old I am? Seems a bit odd to me.

Last week, my elderly mum got tricked by what sounds like a medical scam. They called from a different number and somehow got her to give some bank details. They told her that 'the bank' would call back in about five days to verify everything - which was today. Thing is, the bank doesn’t even have her phone number on record. I’ve blocked the number now. Proper dodgy situation.

They asked if I was over fifty and mentioned I qualified for a pendant alert. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. After seeing what others have said, I’m really happy I just hung up.

Got a call about being eligible for a free medical pendant. When I asked where they found my number, the person said medical stores but never gave my actual name. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. I decided to block the number, but I’m not convinced it helps since these scammers often use fake numbers that mask their real ones. Watch out for these dodgy calls!

The bloke called himself John and said i could get a free medic alert bracelet or pendant. Surely just a scam, no way it was legit.

I didn’t pick up and just let it go to voicemail but didn’t leave a message. Called back at 5:09 pm and saw this number was tied up.

I got a call from a medical alert scam, I answered no to all their questions but they said I still qualified! When they called again, I told them it was their second call and to stop ringing me.

Got a call from this number about whether I qualified for a free medical alert gadget, and they wanted to know if I was older than 50. When I asked what company they were from and how they found my number, the guy just hung up nicely without telling me anything. Seems like it could be a scam!

Got a call from some medical alert company saying I qualified for a pendant and asking my age. I questioned why I’d need one and told them I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so they shouldn’t be cold calling me. The caller then thanked me and wished me well before hanging up. Not long after, the same number rang again, but this time I answered and just ended the call straight away without saying anything.

Got a call from a guy who wanted to know if I was interested in a medical pendant. Then he asked if I was older than 50. I just said goodbye politely and ended the call. Watch out, this definitely smells like a SCAM. Happened on Friday, 25th Feb 2022.

This guy called claiming I was eligible for a free medical alert pendant, same as others he said. I told him I didn't want one, and then he just went quiet. I ended the call quick, definitely felt like a scam.

My mum got a call about one of those emergency pendants yesterday. She was interested and wanted more info or a brochure sent over, but they wouldn't do that. Instead, they just kept pushing for her bank details and other personal stuff. I reckon it's a scam for sure. I tried to pick up when they phoned me, but they hung up before I could even say anything. Really dodgy behaviour.

I got a call saying I qualified for a free health check from some medical alert place. I told them I wasn’t interested, but the bloke just kept going with his spiel anyway, so I just ended the call.

Like a few folks here, I got a call from a young guy claiming I qualified for a medical alert pendant, wanting me to just say my age. Of course, I didn't give it to him. I questioned who he was calling on behalf of and how he got my number. He was clearly going off a script and seemed reluctant to break off his spiel. But once I pushed back a bit, he hung up swiftly.

Got a call with no one speaking on the other end, kept hearing silence but the line stayed active for ages. Really annoyed by how it just held the line without saying anything, felt like they were trying to waste my time or something. Definitely not cool.

Got a call from someone claiming to work for a firm that sells alarms for seniors. They wanted to know if I was more than 50 years old. I told them I wasn’t interested, and then they just said have a nice day and ended the call. Definitely seemed a bit dodgy to me.

So, I got a call from 033300677 and the guy who answered said his name was John. He didn’t ask for me specifically, just kinda started off by telling me I might be eligible for some kind of medical alert pendant. Then he asked if I was over 50. I just told him I wasn’t interested and wasn’t really the right person for that sort of thing. Didn’t want to get pulled into anything.
