Got a call from this number on my phone. I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was, so I just muted it. Figured it was probably some kind of spam or dodgy call.

They keep calling but never leave a message which always seems suspicious to me. From what I’ve read on here and other places, it sounds like a scam. I seen a news story recently about someone getting scammed while dealing with Carphone Warehouse through 02, losing about £1500 for a phone and an iPad. Turns out 02 was taking money from their account and it wasn’t actually Carphone Warehouse calling - total scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Phone Warehouse, asking for my personal info. I told them to send me an email to prove who they were but still haven't got anything. They wanted to switch me to a cheaper phone plan and asked for my birthday and card info. I refused without any proof. Then they phoned again, saying they've emailed me and to keep checking my inbox, but I never saw anything. I looked up the number online and it came up as a scam, so I just hung up.

Just got another scam call so blocked and ignored again. It’s crazy that the networks these scammers use don’t do more to stop it. Why is it always the honest businesses that suffer, while these crooks get to keep operating? The networks are basically letting their platforms be abused for scams, caring more about profit than protecting people’s privacy or wellbeing.

A woman called saying she was from iPhone Warehouse about some upgrade offer. I told her I’d just spoken to someone from the same place a minute earlier, and she hung up straight away. The earlier call was from a bloke using the number 02475424808, which people have also reported. Both numbers are blocked now.

Can't really recall the company name but they said they were some sort of phone provider with an offer.
