Got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from Halifax, claiming a Direct Debit of £275.00 was arranged on my account. They said the bank had frozen it because it looked dodgy. Then the person started telling me how to fix it, but I cut them off and hung up straight away.

Got a call saying they were from HSBC and wanted me to give my voice ID or online password. Sounded a bit fishy to me, so I didn’t share any info. Definitely feels like a scam to watch out for!
