I received a call from this number the other day, and on the line was a woman with an Indian accent. The noise in the background was quite overwhelming. She introduced herself as being from Carphone Warehouse and proceeded to present me with a fantastic deal that included an iPhone 12 Pro, a whopping 1000 international minutes, and unlimited data. I'm inclined to think this was a bit fishy and likely a scam!

Got a call from CPW claiming an amazing deal on an iPhone that sounded way too good to be true. I asked them to send me the details by email, and when I got it, the email looked dodgy as the address was something like [email protected][###]. Nearly got tricked by it!

So, I got a call from someone called Sandra, claiming she was ringing from Car Phone Warehouse to push some iPhone deals. I told her straight up that I’m well aware it’s a scam and that I was going to report her to the cops. I even asked for a business address. Suddenly, she just cut me off - totally different from the usual telesales folks from Indian call centres who try to talk you round. Sorted! :)

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he’d lower the price by £3 and even upgrade me to a new phone. He asked for my card info and wanted £39.99 upfront. Now I’m worried this might be some sort of scam trying to nick money from my bank. He finished by saying “congratulations, all done,” but it’s been two hours and I haven’t got any emails or texts. So far nothing’s been taken from my account, but I’m keeping a close eye just in case.

Be careful, nothing comes free or at a bargain rate. I tried calling the number back but nobody picked up. I’m pretty sure they grabbed my phone number from Gumtree.

Beware of this! I've been getting loads of calls from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, offering unlimited plans with an iPhone X Pro for just £30. They keep ringing me and pretend they're from a London branch of Carphone Warehouse. But when I checked with Carphone Warehouse directly, they told me they've never heard of this deal. It's definitely a scam, so don’t get caught out by it.

Got a call from 03330062740 saying they’ll buy out my phone contract and could get me a Samsung S20 for £30 a month with endless calls and texts. Sounded dodgy, especially since they claimed to be Carphone Warehouse right after I posted on Gumtree. Definitely seemed like an Indian scam to me. I told them I’d just wait till my contract finishes and hung up. Don’t share any information, best to just block and move on.

This number rang me up earlier and honestly, I nearly took them up on it but then I read these reviews. The deal sounded way too good to be real. They were offering the iPhone 11 Pro Max with unlimited calls and data for two years at £760.
