Someone pretending to be from O2 called me, but it was totally dodgy. I kept listening just to figure out what they wanted so I could warn others. They claimed I could get a discount on my bill but needed some personal info to verify it (which didn’t sit right with me). Then they asked for a code that was supposedly sent by text. (Quick tip: never share that code, as it can be used to switch your contract or make purchases.) I refused to hand over the code and they just hung up on me.
