I've been receiving calls from this number non-stop, so I've gone ahead and blocked it.

I rang the number but there was no answer and no voicemail option. Also, the number didn’t seem familiar at all.

I've received multiple calls from the number 03330062526, along with a text message. Usually, the phone only rings briefly before disconnecting. On one occasion, when I managed to pick up promptly, the call cut off regardless. The message read: "Thank you for your recent loan application. An advisor from Lending Options will reach out to you shortly. You'll be contacted from this number: 03330062526." The phone number was clickable in the text, which is rather dodgy if you ask me. However, I've never applied for any loan, so it seems pretty clear this is just a scam attempting to trick people into calling and lining their own pockets. Frankly, it’s quite alarming that if BT is involved in allowing this number to be used by scammers, they’re inadvertently aiding in the potential fraud against unsuspecting users. It certainly raises the question of whether those responsible for supplying these numbers should face serious consequences.
