They ended the call as soon as I picked up, and now I’ve put them on my blocked list.

I received a call from some blokes claiming my washing machine warranty had run out, wanting to verify some details. They said they were from Suregroup and asked for my name as it appears on my bank card along with its expiry date. I wasn’t comfortable with that, so I refused to give any information. Shortly after, I got an email demanding an immediate payment of £198, but the guy on the phone said it was only £66. I decided to just ignore the lot of it and blocked their number.

I just got a call concerning my washing machine, but I haven’t the faintest clue how they obtained my information! The details they mentioned about my appliance were all wrong. They claimed to be from Suresafe. This is the second time I've been contacted by them. I’ll definitely be blocking their number!
