Got a call from someone claiming to be with British Gas, trying to set up an appointment with an energy adviser to cut my bills. I tried to tell them I’m renting and don’t have the authority to switch providers, but they just talked over me and wouldn’t listen. Then they dropped the call. Definitely felt like a scam.
