Got this weird call about some damp or water leakage issue they said I’d reported. It felt kinda robotic, maybe some AI stuff? Told them they had the wrong number, and they just hung up on me, haha. I only picked up cos I figured it was a proper company ringing.

Got a call claiming it was a follow-up on some housing issue I supposedly reported. They were trying to sound casual but ended up more laughable with their strong Indian accents. Made the whole thing sound totally fake.

They rang me but I didn’t pick up and left no message. If they try again, I’m not answering cause I’m sure it’s just some scam or automated call.

This bloke with a proper English accent called me about some housing repair claim I apparently put in. I told him he’d got the wrong number since I never made any claim like that. Then I noticed the voice sounded a bit off - it was a spot-on AI, sounding just like a real person from England. It’s kinda creepy how good tech’s become nowadays.

Got a bunch of dodgy AI calls about mould issues, just ended the call straight away.

It's quite evident that the call about housing issues was pre-recorded and a dodgy attempt at scamming people.

It felt as though the voice was crafted by a machine.

That one came across as rather artificial. Clearly just a spam call. Best to steer clear of it!

Received a call earlier from a supposed Sarah, claiming to represent some housing disrepair entity. She was going on about my housing complaints... I wouldn't recommend interacting with her. Just best to ignore that one!

I picked up the phone, but all I got was a series of beeps. This happened in Wales, UK.

Without a doubt, that sounded like the work of a bot. The moment I requested a bit more detail, they ended the call straightaway.

Once more, it seems the robots are at it!

Sounds like a classic AI move to me! They usually start with a polite greeting and then just pause as they go through their programmed spiel. Quite the predictable routine, isn’t it?

They kept asking me about my housing situation out of nowhere... then blocked me straight away.

You can tell it’s automated cause of the little pause right at the beginning.... best thing to do is just hang up, it’s definitely a scam.

They started asking about damp or cracks in my walls then just cut the call off before I got to answer. So annoying!

I got a call on my mobile from a very well-spoken woman with a proper English accent. She said she wanted to talk about some issues with my housing repairs. I told her I had no problems like that and that she probably dialled the wrong number. She came across so professional that I actually felt a bit bad for being short with her at first, especially since I get loads of scam calls lately. I was completely stunned to find out it was a scam - I honestly thought she was from a real housing service! Really surprised to see it’s just another con. Watch out, folks!

I’ve stopped picking up calls from numbers I don’t know. If it’s important, they can always leave a voicemail, though most times they don’t bother. After looking them up here, I just block them straight away.

Got a nuisance call.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and they didn’t bother leaving a message. Pretty sure it’s just some kind of scam or a telemarketer ringing up cold.
