2 yearsHad a call from an unfamiliar number, didn’t answer it, and have now blocked it.2 yearsThis number’s trying to grab your voice with AI stuff, definitely don’t pick up!2 yearsTossed it aside and cut off all contact.2 yearsI received a call from my housing office.2 yearsReceived a rather monotonous call from an AI. I heard the pre-recorded "how's your day going?" and decided it was best to hang up.2 yearsIt was painfully evident that I was dealing with a pre-recorded phone call, designed to feign conversation by analysing my responses to create its own. Frankly, it came across as dreadfully artificial. There was a conspicuous lag before it replied to me, likely to process my input before tossing back some scripted line. The way it spoke struck me as entirely phoney - far too pronounced, as if it were trying way too hard. Moreover, the English was oddly phrased, despite the seemingly British accent. I was greeted with a rather bizarre "Sarah here from blah blah regarding your housing situation", which made little sense, especially after it had already prompted me with a "Yes, hello, how are you?" When I replied with a polite "I’m fine, thank you," it paused uncomfortably and launched into its spiel again. This entire exchange was anything but conversational. Putting all of this together, it was clear as day that it was a scam. That last statement sealed the deal for me. I quickly hung up and blocked the number, not wanting to waste another moment on whatever nonsense they might try to peddle.Sarah2 yearsI had a chat with a woman named Sarah from the housing sector, and I'm starting to think this could be some sort of dubious scam, if I'm honest!Sarah2 yearsBest to disregard it or add it to your blocked list; it's merely another scammy automated message.2 yearsI received a phone call where the caller greeted me with, “Hello, how are you?” I responded with a polite, “I’m fine, thank you.” She introduced herself as Sarah and mentioned she was reaching out concerning some housing issue. When I informed her that I was actually not experiencing any such issues, she abruptly thanked me for my time and began to wish me a nice day. At that point, I decided to end the call and block her number.Sarah2 yearsReceived a call from a number that feels rather dodgy. Definitely seems like a phoney line to me.2 yearsWhat a complete scam! The voice sounded so artificial, it was a dead giveaway. I mean, I don't even have any housing issues! It's clear they're casting a wide net, hoping to reel in the next unsuspecting victim. I let it go on for a bit while I attended to other things, just to see how they'd try to snare someone new. Total con artist tactics!2 yearsHad a call from a number I didn’t recognise so I went ahead and blocked it straight away.2 yearsCalled to ask about repairs, but they never picked up.2 yearsTotal scam, just trying to trick you!2 yearsGot a robotic scam call today, sounded like some phishing bot. Honestly, kept quiet the whole time - heard if you talk, it could hijack your voice or summat lol.2 yearsThey mentioned some housing repair program, but I'm quite sure it's a total con.2 yearsReceived a call from the so-called "housing maintenance team." Classic scam alert!2 yearsThis morning around 8:40, I received a phone call from this number. Seeing what others have said about it, I’ve decided to block it. Wouldn’t recommend answering it, better to just block straight away.2 yearsSeems like a total ripoff, I'd say just block that number and don't bother picking up if they call again.2 yearsGot a call that was totally dodgy, definitely a scam.2 yearsI picked up my phone but the person on the other end just stayed silent after calling.2 yearsGot a call where they were asking about my housing problems. I told them I’m 16 and neither renting nor owning anywhere, so it felt like some sort of robot or AI. Pretty weird tbh.2 yearsGot a call out of the blue from someone claiming to be from "housing repairs" asking if I've noticed any mould, damp, or cracks in my home. Bit suspicious if you ask me.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from housing repairs asking if I had any signs of mould or damp. Pretty obvious it was a scam.2 yearsI got a call today regarding some housing issue, but it was news to me since I actually own my place.2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from the housing maintenance team about an issue with my place, which is nonsense because there’s no problem at all. The woman on the line was named Sarah or something. I just told her straight to buzz off, and honestly, you should as well - it’s obvious this isn’t legit.Sarah2 yearsToday I got a call from 0331 630 1687. Normally i don’t pick up numbers I don’t know, but since I’m waiting for a call from the hospital, I answered and said hello. The person on the other end just hung up straight away. So I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number and had a look on here. Since the number shows as undetermined, I’m gonna assume it could be a scam call!Submit Your Own Report (0331 630 1687)
