Apparently, it's a group claimed to be 'The Housing Disrepair Team'. They start off with the usual niceties - asking how your day’s going, all very friendly. But once they clock that you're not playing along, they just drop the call. If you attempt to ring the number back, you’re met with a robotic voice wanting to know what issues you’re facing in your home. It’s quite clear it’s not the real deal, as the call gets cut off abruptly. I tried again, casually mentioning 'damp', and was told I'd be put through to a manager - yet, surprise surprise, I got cut off once more. I did manage to speak with a human once, but the moment he realised I wasn’t taking it seriously, he dismissed me as well. Total scam!
