The woman who called refused to share her name or the company she was with. She wanted info about my Mercedes. She claimed I might be entitled to some money from Mercedes because of a class action lawsuit linked to emissions. She said the payout could be anywhere from £2,000 to £10,000 depending on when I bought my car, between 2007 and 2020. But she clearly didn’t know anything specific about my actual car. Feels like a total scam to me.

Told them I never bought from a dealership nor had any service or MOT done at Mercedes, so they wouldn’t have any record of me owning the car. The woman refused to say where she’d got my info from. Told her I knew it was nonsense since I don’t own a Mercedes, then she called me an idiot and hung up 😄. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS TOTAL SCAM.
