The foremost one, partially obscured by the others, bore the ominous title “Apple Security.” The second screen, which was completely blue and rather diminutive, issued a warning reading “Apple Security - Spyware Alert.” Following that, a rather alarming statement proclaimed “Apple is infected with Trojan:SLocker.” It urged her to take immediate action, claiming an essential error had arisen owing to her outdated browser, imploring her to perform an update straight away. The third window was smaller still, stark white, and bore the title “Apple Security Centre,” with an alarming red message stating “(5) Viruses have been detected on your device.” Subsequently, an error code was displayed: G-0x80070057. It went on to warn of a Trojan spyware threat with an alarming claim that her personal and financial details were at significant risk. To add to the urgency, it recommended contacting Apple Support at 0330 912 4605. Beneath all this chaos were two buttons-a red one labelled “Deny” and a blue one reading “Allow.” With all these messages dominating the screen, she found herself unable to click anything else.
