3 yearsJust a heads up, this number is definitely a scam - best to avoid answering it.3 yearsHey, you’re right about that. I got a call from this number on my Mac saying it was Apple support. Definitely don’t pick up or follow any instructions from them! Good luck!Apple3 years****WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM**** On 3rd July 2023 around 1:25pm, my mate turned on her Apple Mac Pro and suddenly a strange screen popped up with three overlapped windows. The first window, which was partially hidden, had the title “Apple Security”. The second window was a smaller blue box that warned “Apple Security - Spyware Alert” and claimed the device was infected with “Trojan:SLocker”. It said there’s a serious error due to an outdated browser and urged to update immediately. The third window was white and showed “Apple Security Centre” in red, stating that “(5) Viruses have been detected,” including “Trojan Spyware,” plus an error code: G-0x80070057. It warned personal and financial info was at risk and advised to call Apple Support on 0330 912 4605. Below these messages were two buttons: a red “Deny” and a blue “Allow.” The entire screen was locked, so nothing else could be done. An American woman’s voice kept giving instructions, telling my friend not to shut down the computer. We got in touch with Apple straight away on their official 0800 number and they fixed everything quickly. ****STAY ALERT****AppleApple Support3 yearsTotally a scam... I got a call, and right away they wanted to control my computer remotely. Seriously, don’t ever agree to that!3 yearsToday my brother received that weird message too, with three screens stacked up like the one mentioned before. Not sure how to delete it, feels like some kind of scam to me.Submit Your Own Report (0330 912 4605)
