It began with a robotic voice saying "hello, can you hear me?" sounded like one of those auto diallers. Then they started asking about some car finance and an accident. Definitely one of those scams.

This guy said he’s a law student and works with every car insurer out there, but wouldn’t say which one exactly. He was asking for info about some car insurance scam. When I started asking how they got my info, he got really hostile. I mentioned I’d report them for breaching GDPR, and “Lewis” just lost it, saying I wouldn’t have the nerve to do it. Proper dodgy behaviour.

I've been getting calls from this number off and on all day, latest one just around 8 in the evening. Mostly just some weird background noise, no actual conversation. No clue how they got my number, never called them or anything like that.

It was a call centre thing, started with ages of silence and heavy breathing from a bloke. Then some guy with an English accent got on but couldnt say my surname properly. I just ended up hanging up and blocking the number.
