I just let it ring through to my landline's answerphone and it didn’t leave any message. Weirdly enough, right after that, my old mobile phone rang with the same number showing up. Then the next day, I noticed I’d missed two more calls from them.

So apparently I’ve been in some kind of accident? The only one I can think of is when I had a little… erm… incident during a stag party. I jokingly asked if I could get compensation for dry cleaning, but the girl on the line just hung up straight away. Bit strange, if you ask me!

Had no clue who was ringing me, kept quiet entire time. They didn’t say anything either, then just ended the call out of nowhere.

So, this call from a place called UK Legal Help or something, was about some no fault accident they claimed I was involved in. I asked them how they had my contact info, and they said it came from some 'opt-in' list, but wouldn't provide any more specifics. When I pushed a bit about if they were breaking GDPR rules, the woman said she’d put me on hold to find out but then just cut the call off. Proper frustrating!
