Got a call from some Indian call centre claiming cheap mobiles. Honestly, if it sounds a bit too good to be real, it usually is. Didn't see a single good review anywhere.

Got an email claiming to be from Santander's security team about a declined card payment of £399.99, and they gave the number 03303905020 to call. Seems a bit fishy to me.

I had a rather dodgy experience with a con artist who was after my bank details. This individual rang me, masquerading as if they were from a well-known mobile network, trying to sweet-talk me into some phone package. It felt all too fishy!

They keep ringing me around 9 at night trying to sell me a phone contract. When I spoke to them, they asked for my card info - like the long number and the three digit code on the back. I told them you don’t need that just to get a contract, but they got really pushy and started yelling, saying if I didn’t give them the details I wouldn’t get the phone. Totally not right!

They rung me up 4 times today. When I finally picked up, they said they were calling about a contract phone linked to my email. I told them I had no idea who they were, but they just kept repeating the company name so fast I couldn't catch it properly. I told them I've never dealt with them or contacted them about this phone. Pretty sure they're just some third party, but still, they just kept ringing.

Random person calling. Definitely a banking scam.

Got an email saying it was from "Cashplus Bank" (which is a real bank, but I’ve never had an account with them). It said my accounts were frozen because of fraud and to ring a certain number. The email headers looked like it came from India. Obviously I didn’t bother calling since I’m not a customer and never have been.

0330 390 5300 rang me earlier and asked straight up for my bank info and my name. I didn’t realise it was a scam as I’ve been checking out bill pay phones recently so thought it could be one I signed up for. Ended up giving my details without a second thought, proper shocking behaviour!

First it was a woman, then a bloke who somehow convinced me to hand over my card details after pestering me non-stop. They said it was about a phone upgrade, and I was daft enough to believe them. I called my bank straight away to cancel the card and luckily, no money was taken.

I've been getting loads of calls from this number and others like it lately. Today I finally picked up but didn’t say anything, he just kept saying hello. Then out of nowhere he says Asalamalaikom like I’m gonna respond just 'cause I’m Muslim, lol. Seems pretty dodgy to me.
