I received a call from someone claiming to be with O2, stating that they were about to send me a PIN.

I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be from O2. They were eager to let me know that, as a valued customer, I was entitled to a whopping 45% discount on my existing O2 plan. The thing is, I’ve never had an account with O2! Clearly, this was an attempt at phishing. To make matters worse, they were pushing me to go over my supposed O2 contract details as well.

got a call from someone with an indian accent saying they were from 02. they said i could get 40% off but only if i bought through them, not online. i was a bit iffy about it so told them i was tied up. they wanted to know when they could ring me back but then i remembered I don’t even have a contract with 02 anymore. sounds exactly like one of those scam calls that’s too good to be true. be careful!

it was said to be 02 calling me. i thought it was a scam right away so i asked them to just send an email like i always do, then they just cut the call off.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said she was from O2's promotions team, telling me about a 40% discount for current O2 users. She talked super quickly, and the moment I told her I wasn’t interested, she just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone saying I could get like 40% off if I upgraded my phone contract. Thing is, I don’t even have a phone contract! I kept asking them which contract they meant, but they just kept going on about a new contract. When she finally said “phone contract,” I just hung up straight away.
