It’s not immediately obvious, but it turns out they’re merely a no win, no fee legal firm. It’s quite clear from the postcode they provided that I was plucked from some list of clueless individuals from two decades ago.

I received a call from a lady with a foreign accent who claimed she was part of a maintenance team wanting to arrange a visit to fix some leaks and other problems I supposedly reported. She mentioned she was ringing from a housing maintenance service. However, as soon as I told her I wasn’t a tenant, she abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
