03303530243 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03303530243 👆 is reported as a company often accused of targeting elderly and vulnerable individuals with aggressive sales tactics, offering costly call-blocking devices and nuisance call prevention services that are widely available for free through official channels like the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Multiple reports describe unauthorised direct debits, unsolicited calls despite TPS registration, and allegations of misleading claims and fraudulent behaviour. The organisation has been fined heavily by the ICO for breaches related to unsolicited calls and misuse of data. Numerous consumers warn others to avoid providing bank details due to the risk of financial loss. While a minority claim the device works, the overwhelming consensus is to exercise extreme caution, report unsolicited calls to authorities, and consider official, no-cost nuisance call blocking options instead.

I’m not broke or anything, just choosing to live a more basic life away from the craziness of this greedy capitalist mess. I don’t care about sticking to any rules about money or who I’m with. People who actually have success and money tend not to boast about it. If you read carefully, it seems likely that Montecarlo was just made up, and the ICO’s crackdown has ended up ruining a lot of company bosses financially.

Quick update, livin it up in Monte Carlo avoiding taxes and loving that I’ve not shelled out a single penny in fines. Guess crime really does pay off, especially since I let that clueless fool Rob Sturss (Peter Townsend) take the blame for me. It’s almost laughable if it wasn’t so sad lol 😅. Now off to the casino then dinner at Hotel Paris, and later gonna have some fun in the bedroom. P.S. cheers to all of you for footing the bill, you mugs 😆🍆💦

The ICO looked into and handed out penalties adding up to £590,000 to five more firms in the home appliance warranty and service plan industry. SGS Home Protect Ltd got slapped with a £70,000 fine, Cover Appliance Ltd fined £200,000, F12 Management Ltd also fined £200,000, House Hold Appliances 247 Ltd received £55,000 fine, and RHAP Ltd fined £65,000.

I noticed the Firm's Registered Office has moved from Intergen House in Hove to a home address in Worthing. Bit strange for a company claiming to be flush with cash to list a residential place as their Registered Office.

The fine was supposed to be paid off through a payment plan, so I’m guessing the business owner didn’t have enough cash to clear it all at once. From what the ICO records show, the entire sum still hasn’t been paid. I’m sure the ICO will be chasing them up for the money and could even go after personal belongings if needed to get the debt settled.

IT’S PAUL. Honestly, the person who wrote below is, well... not the sharpest. I sorted out the fine and I’m up and running again. Wanna know how I settled it? I flogged my place down at Brighton pier and these days I’m mostly hanging out at my villa in Monte Carlo. 128 grand? That’s just loose change to me, but like my partner always says, mind the pennies from the public and the pounds will sort themselves out! 😂

Oh dear, it seems we've got a bit of a dodgy situation on our hands in the UK! It appears that some are getting a little too crafty with our hard-earned cash. Just a heads up to everyone out there - stay vigilant, because they've got their eyes on your pennies! 😅

Regulators are intensifying their probes into a variety of firms that provide service agreements for home appliances, prompted by a barrage of consumer grievances. Unscrupulous company directors have faced legal action, resulting in penalties and bans for bombarding the elderly and at-risk individuals with unrequested calls. Those who resist paying these fines will find themselves pursued relentlessly, with personal properties potentially at risk. The situation is heating up considerably, with many organisations now facing scrutiny. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see some serious repercussions handed down to the leaders of these businesses, given the considerable distress they've inflicted on countless consumers.

I received a rather unsolicited call from a chap claiming to be in touch with a 'Debbie', who informed me that a sum of £149 would be deducted from my account on 18th April, with an additional monthly charge of £7.50 for the following year, supposedly to put an end to those pesky nuisance calls. However, given that I utilise BT's call blocking service, I see absolutely no need for any other method to tackle the incessant nuisance calls that plague my phone.

They got slugged with a 200 grand fine from the ICO for ringing up vulnerable folks on the TPS without permission, and then had the nerve to boast about it online. Honestly, glad they got caught and punished.

You gotta be careful when dealing with firms like YCSL and make sure you keep your personal details safe. Also, it’s wise to report any unwanted marketing calls to the proper authorities so they can hopefully stop this kind of dodgy behaviour.

It's quite a shocker that It's Okay Limited has been slapped with a £200,000 fine for unsettlingly reaching out to individuals on the Telephone Preference Service list, particularly the elderly and those considered vulnerable. That’s rather harsh, isn't it? Clearly, this isn't acceptable behaviour!

One might surmise that it's just part and parcel of how genuine enterprises operate, getting hit with a £170K penalty as a standard practice! However, I find that rather hard to believe. The Information Commissioner's Office doesn't hand out fines of that magnitude without a compelling reason, and it suggests that the business in question may be engaging in some questionable activities that straddle the law.

It's quite peculiar how so-called 'upstanding businessmen' will set up and wind up a string of companies only to jump into the same industry with new ventures or director roles. That sort of behaviour raises a lot of eyebrows and seems rather dodgy, if you ask me. Definitely not the norm!

A gang of dubious characters peddling various services, ranging from call-blocking solutions to maintenance plans for household appliances. They faced a hefty penalty of £170,000 from the Information Commissioner's Office for making unsolicited calls to individuals on the Telephone Preference Service list. If your mum fell victim to a scam and lost £275.00, I'd strongly advise getting in touch with Trading Standards.

We're entirely ready to settle the penalty, my dear. Do you accept Ugandan shillings or perhaps some Russian roubles?

Those scoundrels had the audacity to claim they'd 'certainly overturn that outrageous £170,000 penalty,' but they couldn't have been more misguided; the fine stuck. They likely whimpered about their financial struggles, leading to a paltry arrangement for monthly repayments - which they initially adhered to, only to now fall behind. I can't envision the Information Commissioner's Office turning a blind eye to their delinquency; it's quite possible the powers that be are gearing up to seize assets or pursue a court mandate to ensure restitution is forthcoming.

I got a call from this number claiming they were part of a government scheme aimed at tackling pesky nuisance calls. They insisted that I had to pay a weekly fee of £1.20 upfront, but assured me I'd get it back after the tax year was over. Quite the cheeky request if you ask me!

I’ve recently uncovered that this individual appears to be orchestrating yet another insurance con from the very same premises, operating under the name National Home Cover. It’s quite alarming to note that it's the same address as the Service Monkey scam, which involved dodgy white goods. This operation seems intertwined with Yes Consumer Solutions, even swapping sensitive information and banking details unlawfully alongside TPS data. A quick search reveals that National Home Cover shares the same location, and the numerous reviews on Trustpilot clearly indicate it’s a ruse targeting vulnerable groups like the elderly and those with disabilities. It seems indisputable that Paul Elliot is the mastermind behind all of this.

There was yet another company down on the south coast that specialised in blocking those pesky nuisance calls, and they’ve also found themselves in hot water with the ICO not too long ago. Following a thorough probe by Trading Standards, the Director of this firm was found guilty of fraud and handed a five-year prison term. I’ve heard whispers that the courts were looking to add a few extra years to that sentence if the imposed fine wasn't settled. Quite a saga, wouldn’t you agree?

The chap in charge of this outfit has clearly had his run-ins with the authorities before, so it’s no surprise he was walking a precarious line. I wouldn’t blame anyone slapped with a hefty fine for acting like a complete fool to be wishing they’d thought twice. It’s just cringeworthy to put oneself in such a position for mockery. The local entrepreneurs are certainly enjoying a good laugh at his misfortune!

What a bunch of absolute nincompoops! It's my sincerest wish that they face the music and don't escape that hefty fine, nor should they even dream of re-establishing a similar business after shutting down their previous operation. They've clearly engaged in some dodgy dealings. Just so you know, they go by the name Phillip Townstend. And as for those companies, they're linked to Consumer Solutions, Service Monkey, and Prestige Equity Release.

It’s utterly disgraceful, to be honest. With everyone grappling with the challenges of the pandemic, piling on unnecessary stress and anxiety from unscrupulous businesses is simply unacceptable. One would think they’d show a bit of decency during such trying times!

We didn't carry out a TPS check on our records as we believed we qualified for an exemption since we actively work to eliminate unwanted calls. My team has assured me that I'll surely prevail in the appeal against this unfair penalty. For now, it's business as usual - "Play THE UK THE YES CONSUMER WAY!"

Honestly, I’d feel quite ashamed to be at the helm of a business like this one. If you’re in the business of tackling pesky phone calls, how on earth can you find yourself in such a mess that the ICO ends up fining you for making them? It raises serious concerns. Moreover, this outfit needs a thorough probe regarding its practice of offering equity release services over the phone when they’re not even registered with the FCA. I mean, really? Running such operations from a cramped little office and relying on a service monkey is just absurd. They ought to face stiff penalties under GDPR and fraud regulations, and a proper audit is absolutely necessary-especially when customer bank details are scrawled on bits of paper.

It’s wise to keep notifying the ICO and the Telephone Preference Service about these calls. That seems to be the most effective way to handle it.

Had a rather curious phone call yesterday. The caller claimed to be affiliated with some government scheme aimed at curbing pesky nuisance calls. Surprisingly, they asked for my bank details! I politely turned them down and reminded them that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The irony is simply hilarious!

It's rather daft, isn't it? A company that purports to assist folks in avoiding bothersome calls being handed a hefty fine for failing to do just that. Honestly, the individuals overseeing this operation seem to be complete muppets!

We've already made our getaway and have no intention of settling that ridiculous penalty!

That's not quite accurate, is it? The ICO could very well take your cash if they decide to slap you with a hefty £170,000 fine. How daft can one be!

Received a call from this number back in January 2020, and somehow ended up getting charged £149.99 upfront followed by £7.50 monthly. They assured me that after January 2021, the call-blocking service would be complimentary. Yet, lo and behold, they've just taken another £7.50 from my account for February 2021! After sifting through various reviews on their site, I've made up my mind to terminate the Direct Debit forthwith. This operation smells distinctly dodgy, and I’ll be lodging a complaint with the Fraud Department at my bank. Just a heads-up, the call originated from 03303530243.

A well-known con that specifically preys on vulnerable elderly individuals and those with disabilities, who frequently rely on the Telephone Preference Service. This operation is not just unscrupulous; it’s outright illegal. The company’s payment processor is currently under scrutiny for fraudulent activities and pyramid schemes. I’ve taken the liberty of alerting Action Fraud and trading standards about Yes Consumer Solutions. The recent disarray, with their website vanishing and them abandoning their offices at Intergen House in Brighton and Hove, certainly raises a lot of eyebrows! It clearly indicates that they’re trying to evade the watchful eyes of the authorities.

We've recently uncovered a direct debit agreement for my late stepfather, who passed away on Tuesday. It appears that he was charged an initial sum of £149.99, followed by recurring payments of £7.50 monthly. The purpose of these payments remains a mystery, especially since we're still inundated with sales calls from various others, likely associated with this unscrupulous company. It's absolutely baffling how such entities are permitted to function when it's no secret that they're preying on the elderly. It's utterly disgusting how far greed motivates people to engage in such despicable acts.

I've fallen victim to a similar con myself. They claimed to represent the national service for tackling nuisance calls and insisted I pay a one-off admin fee to sign up. They promised I'd get a rebate down the line, but instead, they just took my bank details. Quite the dodgy scheme!

The sole time they’ll be in touch with the authorities is when the police arrive at their doorstep to apprehend them for their shady practices. It's been three years since my folks supposedly forked out for international call blocking, but when I checked the bank statements, not a penny's left the account! Got a call just the other day from Debra saying she’s with "Yes", asking for £79 plus £10 a month to renew some service. I looked back and saw last year (8/1/19 - a guy named Tom rang me) I already paid £119, thought that was it sorted. I’ve also got a CPR blocker I never even set up. Maybe I should’ve been more careful, but I’ll be ringing the bank soon to cancel stuff just in case. Still get some dodgy calls now and then, but nothing like the amount a few years ago. Watch out!! An elderly pensioner had their bank and debit card info stolen over a year ago. The card was changed and the bank gave back the £160 that was taken. But recently, the same firm set up a dodgy direct debit and took £150 from the same vulnerable pensioner's account. The bank managed to refund that too. Absolute scumbags. Hope they get what's coming to them.

It’s truly disheartening to see individuals who would stoop so low as to exploit the vulnerable, such as the elderly and disabled, just to snatch their bank details. I've recently purchased a BT phone featuring a CallBlocker, as my grandmother tends to be a bit forgetful and has a habit of sharing her banking details with strangers. Fingers crossed this device will filter out every number apart from those in her contacts. It’s infuriating that I already fell victim to one of these dodgy firms, losing £80!

Thankfully I was home before that so-called ‘call-blocking’ gadget was connected, but I doubt my nan will see her £80 refunded even though I sent it back the very next day (and we had to cover the postage ourselves). The company, yes it’s called consumer solutions, also sent a letter confirming a direct debit of £10 a month which we’ve since cancelled. I’ve just ordered a bt4600 big button phone for her, which fingers crossed, will block all unwanted calls once I’ve programmed in her contacts (including those idiots if they try phoning again to twist her arm!).
