I received a call from National Utilities, and they were inquiring whether I happen to be the owner of the property.

I received a call the other day from someone peddling utility services. They inquired if I owned my property, to which I cheekily replied that I was currently residing on a spaceship in Earth’s orbit, hence avoiding any solar tariffs. The chap on the other end didn’t appreciate my bit of banter and abruptly ended the call. Honestly, these nuisance callers really grind my gears!

Received a call at precisely ten in the morning. The bloke kicked off with a cheerful "good afternoon," which I found a bit odd at that hour. He then inquired if I could connect him to the individual in charge of the meters, rambling on about some registration details. Out of nowhere, he brought up the hairdresser, a business adjacent to ours. I promptly asked him to drop me an email, to which he replied, “We don’t utilise emails.” At that point, I decided it was best to terminate the call.

I received a call from someone claiming to represent an energy supplier. This individual said that they had observed my electricity payments were rather high, and they offered to find me a cheaper deal. They even asked me to snap a photo of my current meter reading so they could assist me further. It all sounded rather fishy if you ask me—definitely a scammer!

They requested the owner's information for the property from which we were calling, identified as the Meter Registration Department in the UK. I told them to shove off.

They've been incessantly ringing me, so I've decided to block them. It's those con artists from something called National Utilities. They keep claiming that my service will be cut off unless I provide them with the owner's details, droning on and on with their nonsense.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from this number regarding my electricity supply. The caller mentioned that he was inquiring about a supposed recent change of business address, which I promptly denied. Strangely enough, he was able to accurately state both the name of my business and its location in South Wales. When I pressed him to provide the actual address of my establishment, given that he claimed to work for the energy company and had all this information, he was unable to do so. I suggested he drop me an email instead, and he clearly had my email details as well. I can definitely say this was a scam; it's alarming how easily my phone number, email, general location, and business name can be found online. Notably, I'm a sole trader and haven't registered my business with any physical address.

Beware of this fraudulent utilities firm—they somehow had my actual email address too! Keep your wits about you.

Received a message from this number earlier today. Unsure if it’s a scam or just junk. Honestly, it’s not worth my time, so I’ll just be blocking it.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from National Utilities, insisting that I must register my 'business' to avoid my service being cut off. The odd thing is, they were referencing a page I created on Facebook, which is far from a business operation!

This number keeps coming up as a spam caller on my phone, so I've gone ahead and blocked it. Yet, they persist in attempting to reach me, ringing three or four times daily. Whenever they leave a message, it's completely unintelligible, just a jumbled mess.

Complete scam! They keep attempting to persuade me with some so-called "improved" deal.

I've heard they’re associated with National Utilities, or so the word goes.
