Phone number ☎️ 03303035324 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance number linked to numerous complaints about spam and scam calls, often impersonating O2 to offer fake upgrades or loyalty deals. While some callers claim legitimacy, many users and official O2 representatives warn that callers pressure for personal or bank details, indicating fraudulent intent. Calls frequently come with no response when answered, and multiple reports highlight phishing attempts, with scammers using genuine customer data accessed unlawfully. Victims advise against answering unknown calls from this number and recommend blocking it immediately. O2 confirms some call centres work on their behalf but urge caution as fraudulent activity exploits their brand. For safety, never disclose sensitive information and contact O2 directly via official channels if unsure.

Got a text from another number telling me to ring this one (+44 instead of the usual 0). The sender said they were from NATWEST. The text said someone had added a new mobile number for phone banking. Since I’ve dealt with fraud on my NatWest account twice before, I went straight to the bank to see if it was legit - turns out it’s a scam. I didn’t call that 0330 number. The text to call came from mobile 07985 552952.

Got a text telling me to ring this number (+44 instead of the usual 0), said it was from NATWEST. The message said someone had registered a new phone number for phone banking. Since I’ve already dealt with fraud on my NatWest account twice before, I went straight to the bank to verify it and turns out it was a scam. Didn’t bother calling the number at all.

Loads of junk calls lately, it's so annoying!

Haha it's pretty funny how Convergys apparently has their staff posting good reviews about this number. Doesn’t change the fact it’s a pain in the neck though. Even if it’s a proper company, they’ll just keep calling over and over, ignoring the fact you’ve made it clear you’re not interested.

This number belongs to a call centre that manages multiple clients, one of which happens to be O2. They're reaching out to you as a representative of O2, with the intention of presenting promotional deals or discounts for your loyalty as a customer. There's absolutely nothing suspicious about this number, so feel free to pick up if you're interested in potentially slashing your phone bill with some attractive offers!

I get about four or five calls like this every day and I'm not even an O2 customer. I get that folks need to make a living, but it’s super frustrating to be getting so many unsolicited calls all the time.

I actually work here, and we've got all your info right in front of us. If you’re not sure we’re legit, just ask me the exact amount of your last bill down to the penny. Or ask for your bank account number and sort code, we have it all. I’m with Convergys, calling for o2.

I didnt pick up but funny thing is my contract was actually up for renewal right in a month, and ever since that date this number has been callin me like twice every day. What are the chances? Seen mixed opinions about this number here. For now, im just gonna keep ignoring it.

They tried to ring me 4 times but I couldn’t pick up coz of work. Loads of others said it was O2, so I rang them up and they confirmed it was a legit number. Asked them to stop calling me but they said I’d have to sort that out myself. When I brought up charging them for the calls, they finally sent a message telling whoever it was to quit ringing me. Glad it’s sorted now but it was really annoying.

I've been harassed by this number ringing me repeatedly today-two times, if I'm counting right. I’ve chosen not to pick up either time, but it's really starting to get on my nerves. Is there any way to hold these callers accountable and possibly seek some sort of compensation for the hassle they’re causing?

Had a dodgy call from an O2 number. Made sure to verify on the O2 site, and turns out I've blocked that number. Better safe than sorry!

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2, asked if I’m happy with my current contract with them. Then they wanted me to confirm something but I couldn’t quite catch what it was.

This is defo not O2. I've had loads of calls from this number and even after mentioning all the bad feedback I've seen online, the caller kept saying he was from O2. I decided to check with O2 on their Live Chat, like a few others suggested, and they told me straight up it wasn’t O2 and that they would report it. Better block this number!

I've been receiving calls from this particular number on a daily basis, sometimes even twice! It's been going on for several months now, and I’m really losing my patience with it. Could someone please look into this number and have it blocked? Much appreciated!

There’s a firm in Belfast named Convergy’s. They ain’t O2 themselves but get paid by O2 to offer you extra contracts. This isn’t some kind of upgrade. They definitely have all your info stored in their database. I actually worked there once.

Some bloke said he was from my bank but sounded dodgy. He wanted my info, but I told him there’s no way I’m sharing that over the phone, then he just hung up. Since then, I kept getting calls where no one even said a word. I blocked that number, and guess what? Next day a different 033 number popped up!

I received a call that purported to be from O2, but I ended up hanging up before they could say much. The calls kept coming in, yet each time I picked up, there was silence on the other end. It's incredibly annoying to have my day disrupted like that.

Continuous calls that abruptly disconnect upon answering are quite bothersome and should definitely be brought to the attention of the Information Commissioner's Office.

They've rung me about 14 times over 5 days. When I did pick up, they said nothing both times, so now I’m ignoring them and planning to block.

Stay clear. O2 calling out of the blue. They try to trick you by saying you’re getting a free phone for being a loyal O2 customer, and that they’re upgrading your plan. But then you realise you’ve ended up with two phones, an extra number, and added costs. Total scam. They charge you extra fees without telling you. Don’t fall for upgrades like this. Better to visit a shop or handle it online yourself.

Definitely O2 calling. Didn’t try to get any details from me. Bit irritating but no harm done.

I've received a handful of missed calls from this number recently, and they never leave a voicemail. It's quite infuriating when I dash to pick up the phone only for them to hang up.

I've been receiving calls from this number as well (03303035324). It's been occurring for the past couple of days, and honestly, it’s a bit unsettling for me. At just 13 years old, I really don’t want to be bothered by these calls. I’m on O2 with unlimited texts and calls, but I’m quite unsure about how to handle this situation. It makes me feel quite anxious. Any advice would be appreciated!

So this was o2 trying to sell me something, I dialled 2220 and had to deal with some robot voice. I told them to stop calling me now, just waiting to see if it works.

They rang me but I didn’t pick up coz I don’t chat with people I don’t know, just not trusting. I looked it up online and it looked really dodgy, fake 02 number. I’ve blocked it now and haven’t had any calls from them since.

If you're with O2, you can stop getting these calls by pressing 2220 on your phone. It’ll guide you through some choices where you can opt out of “mobile deals and offers.” Hopefully, that sorts it for you!

Got a call from 03303035324 about a week ago, so I rang back. Some bloke with a Liverpudlian accent picked up and said it was O2, and if it was important, they’d ring me back. Since then, they’ve called a few times but when I pick up, they just hang up straight away. Seems like their call handling standards aren’t based on call duration or maybe they’re just a bit clueless! :)

Its an o2 sales call. BEWARE. They promise a nice deal, making you think its an upgrade with a loyalty discount for sticking with o2. Then you find out you’'ve actually been given a new phone number and its not at the price you agreed to. They get bigger commission for signing up new customers. I was told the contract was £25 a month but the first bill was £29, then all the bills were £29. These folks are heartless and I think what they do is illegal.

Got a call from O2. I'm off contract now and they kept trying to push me to upgrade or sign up for another deal. Really annoying how they won't stop ringing. Had no choice but to block their number so I can have some calm.

Got a few missed calls from this number and from what others have said it looks like a real O2 call. I did get a text before on my phone saying O2 would ring and I could say no if I didnt want to, so it wasnt a random call out of the blue.

I copied this from a chat with O2 live support just now John. There’s been a phone number ringing loads of people quite regularly, it’s ‘03303035324’. They’re pretending to be O2 and offering fake discounts or saying you’ve won a prize. Then they ask you to answer some personal questions ‘for data protection’, which is obviously dodgy cos they’re the ones who called you first. Honestly, best thing is just block the number or don’t pick up at all.

Some bloke called claiming to be from O2, sounded like a nice Irish guy. He mentioned doing some security checks but didn't follow through - guess he spotted I wasn’t going to hand over my personal info to someone I don’t know on the phone! I just said I wasn’t interested in adding more devices or upgrading now, and the call ended politely with him wishing me a good arvo. Not sure if the number or caller is legit, but it was definitely an unexpected call.

I keep receiving calls from this number, and I just can’t fathom why O2 is able to block my number yet fails to do the same with this ridiculous one. It’s rather puzzling!

I received a call attempting to sell me a new SIM that boasted a generous 15GB of data along with unlimited calls and texts. However, I didn’t let them proceed after I posed the simple question of whether I was the primary account holder.

As soon as the 'sales rep' started chatting away in a rather dodgy accent from Belfast and peppered his speech with terms like "score," it set off alarm bells in my mind. When I asked to speak to a "manager," the whole experience felt rather fishy, especially with the way the phone was passed around rather than the standard hold music.

I'm on a chat with 02 right now and they keep dodging whether it's them or not. They told me to ring 202 to get more info. But they've blocked any marketing calls from 02 through chat, so if I get another call, I can be sure it's not actually 02.

Recently, I've noticed the number '03303035324' ringing a lot of folks, pretty much every day. They're pretending to be O2, promising discounts for being loyal customers or saying you’ve won a prize. But then they ask you to answer some questions for 'data protection' - which feels dodgy seeing as they rang you first. Honestly, it’s best to just block or ignore the call. Hopefully this heads-up helps others avoid trouble, as some people might blindly answer and it could lead to serious issues down the line.

Got a call from this number and after checking with O2, turns out it's a scam. I've blocked this one and 03300303 5323 too, they just keep calling from new numbers once you block them. Was told not to share any bank info, which I wouldn't do anyway. If you're unsure, best to pop into an O2 shop for help.

A woman claiming to be from O2 called asking for someone named Billy, saying they’d sent him a SIM card and wanted to check if he’d received it. I wasn’t fast enough to say ‘Billy’s not here’ though! Told her she had the wrong number, and then she tried to find out what network I use! Weirdly, she already knew my address. I told her that was private and ended the call.

This is legit from O2 Promotions. My daughter got the call and then shared the number with me. I got in touch with O2 through their live chat and talked to someone there, gave them the number and they confirmed everything. The offer is a new iPhone for £5 a month including calls and texts plus 500 ghost data. But this isn’t an upgrade, you’ll end up with an extra line on top of your existing one. Sounds like they might have stocked up on way too many iPhones and are trying to sell them quick.

This is total rubbish. At one point they wanted my full card number, so I just hung up and spoke to O2 through their online live chat. They told me straight away it’s a scam and said I should report the number to the police. They’re calling from some call centre in Belfast, and they’re pretty convincing. This is defo a scam. I keep getting texts from 02 that look legit and are verified as O2, but then I also get other messages saying they’ll ring me today, and these aren’t verified at all. I reckon someone’s got hold of O2’s customer info who shouldn’t have it. Could be hacked data, stolen and sold on the dark web, or maybe a current or ex-partner messing about with O2’s database for a scam. Don’t talk to them, don’t give out or confirm any info. If you do answer, just mess them about and then hang up straight away.
9 years
Like someone else already said, this is definitely a scam. It looks like O2’s customer info has been leaked, but O2 haven’t told anyone about it. Their database has obviously been hacked. Don’t trust any calls or offers you get. Don’t answer questions, don’t say if your details are correct, never give your PIN or passwords, and definitely don’t share any bank or card details. O2 should be held responsible, they’ve let their customers down badly by not letting us know our data could be in danger!

The calls come from O2, actually a call centre they’ve hired in Belfast, which is in the UK, by the way! Some of the comments here are pretty racist if you ask me, just a bunch of narrow-minded Little England types getting more & more rude and closed off. Sure, the calls are a pain, but they’re definitely not a scam or anything dodgy.

I had a rather odd phone call from this number, where they were pitching a deal for a second mobile phone aimed at my husband. However, when I asked for a callback number, they didn’t provide one, which got my alarm bells ringing. Naturally, I decided to reach out to O2's customer service for peace of mind. They dialled the number in question and confirmed it’s linked to their sales team. Even so, I can't help but feel a tad uneasy about the whole situation.

What a total con! I had this bloke ring me up, insisting he was with O2. I decided to play along, pretending I was keen on snagging a complimentary iPad. Then things took a dodgy turn when he started firing off security questions. First off, he wanted my complete address, and even though I tossed him a made-up one, he seemed chuffed with that. Next, he asked for my full password! I pressed him about which O2 department he represented and mentioned I'd be ringing them back using the contact info on their official website. He kept insisting that wasn't needed, and before long, he just cut the call. What a joker!

The cost of calls from mobiles differ based on the chosen calling plan. Usually, these calls are incorporated in free call packages.
