I got a message claiming that I'd transferred over £500 to an individual on the 25th of January through First Direct Bank. It instructed me to ring the number provided if I hadn't authorised the transaction. After contacting my bank straight away, they confirmed it was a scam. Best to be cautious!

I received a message from this number claiming there had been suspicious activity on my bank account and urging me to ring them back. Naturally, I took a moment to look into my bank account, and all was perfectly normal. Definitely a scam!
