after the national media blew the lid on this, tv spark is now facing removal from the companies house register. when that’s done, all their debts could be wiped clean. if they’ve scammed you out of cash, ring companies house on 0303 1234 500 - they can hold off the removal while you sort out what you’re owed.

Just saw a piece in the Daily Mail online about TV Spark going after older people and those who might be easily fooled. It really digs into their methods and even shares an email address for folks who've been scammed by Bognor’s version of a cheeky Tommy Shelby from the pound shop. Pretty eye-opening stuff.

My 93-year-old mum got a call from a bloke who said he was Edward Stevens from TV Spark. He was talking about some TV insurance bill, and she thought she needed to pay it. He even mentioned stuff about her debit card, which made her anxious. She ended up giving him her card info before ringing me. When I saw the number on this site, I quickly rang our bank. They were really good and said there’s a chance we can get back the £96 she spent.

i got a call from a bloke named samuel, claiming he was ringing from T V Spark, said it was some kind of sony warranty repair insurance. he then asked for my debit card info to supposedly renew the policy. sounded fishy to me.
