Had loads of calls non stop from car insurance claims, asking if I’d had an accident that wasn’t my fault. I just stop answering and block every single number. So far I’ve had about 15 calls in a couple of days, and as soon as I block one number, another one rings from a different line with the same spiel. It’s defo a scam, don’t fall for it. The numbers I've seen popping up are like 02032878466, 02032876336, 03302230264, plus others like 02081336657 and 02081237222. Blocking them feels pointless as they just keep coming from new numbers. Stay clear and good luck dodging these lot!

I got a call on my mobile from a bloke with a foreign accent, saying something about a small accident I supposedly had a few years back in my local area. I asked him for the exact date and place - usually, these dodgy callers hang up when you ask for facts. This one didn’t, but he said he didn’t have any more info. I thanked him for ringing, told him straight it was a scam and I wouldn’t be sharing my bank info. He said he wasn’t after personal details anyway, but I just ended the call then and there.

Warning, this is a risky scam. I put up a car ad on Gumtree and almost immediately got a call from someone claiming to be from the traffic accident office, saying there had been a small collision. Then I got three more calls in a very short time. The calls came from these numbers: 0161 8189122 (Manchester), 01892 556738 (Tunbridge Wells), then a UK 0330 2230264, and also 0800 8554856. Be careful!

Got a call from someone with an Indian/Asian accent about an accident claim, said they had my car up for sale on Gumtree. I told the bloke to get lost and ended the call. It was 06-12-2019, around 6:16 PM. The number was a lot like ones the NHS uses, and I only answered coz I have family in hospital.

I got a call from someone named Ali Hussain with a strong Indian accent I could barely get. No disrespect meant, just hard to follow what he was saying. He kept pressing me for my WhatsApp info. I ended up hanging up. Then he called me back like three times! Luckily, iPhone lets you block numbers. Pretty sure this guy was trying some sort of scam, wouldn’t stop bugging me about WhatsApp details even after I said no. Be careful if you get called from this number!
