My wife got a call from someone who sounded Indian or something like that. She said it was fine for them to come over but then we ended up cancelling on the day and didn’t pick up when they called at the arranged time.

They said it was a government supported service, offering a free check-up for my solar panels. But the minute I said I wasn’t interested because of all the scam calls around, they just ended the call. That number’s definitely going straight onto my BT block list.

This cold calling is driving me mad. Got a call from some number claiming to be Global Care Scotland. I told them I wasn’t interested and tried to end the call, but they kept going on. Then they called me again! Didn’t pick up this time and they stopped after about five rings. They even knew my name! Honestly, so annoying.
