I received a rather dubious message stating that my one-time passcode is 839334 for a payment of £452.00 to PAYSEND, reference number P9F47. If this transaction wasn't initiated by me, I was advised to reach out to fraud prevention at 03301901137. I swiftly recognised it as a scam and promptly deleted the message, proceeding to block the number as well. Better safe than sorry, I suppose!

This phone number is a scam. They've sent me a message claiming I've approved a payment. The text reads: 'Your unique passcode is 566176 for a sum of £452.00 to PAYSEND - Reference: P9F47. If this wasn’t initiated by you, please reach out to the fraud team at 03301901137 for help.' Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I’ve just encountered a rather dodgy text that read something like this: “Your one-time passcode is 889603 for a payment of £452.00 to PAYSEND - Ref: P9F47. If this isn’t correct, please get in touch with fraud at 03301901137 for help.” Now, here’s the kicker - it’s supposedly from NatWest, yet I don’t even have an account with them! It’s safe to say something's amiss here! Plus, I haven’t placed any orders, so I’m very much on guard!

I received a message claiming to be from 'NatWest.'

It stated that my one-time passcode was 712637 for a transaction of £452.00 to PAYSEND - Ref: P9F47. If this wasn’t initiated by me, I was told to get in touch with fraud helpline on 03301901137 for more help.

Definitely a scam! The number they provided doesn't match the one NatWest recommends for reporting fraud cases. Additionally, I've noticed that genuine messages from NatWest never end with a full stop - they just say "NatWest," not "NatWest."

I received a text from Natwest regarding a potential payment to Paysend, but interestingly, this number didn’t ring my phone. It was supposedly the contact for reporting any fraudulent activity. The catch is, I don't even hold a Natwest account! It could very well be on the level, but I’m certainly not going to risk a call just to verify.
