I reckon this number was trying to pull a fast one, posing as though they were from the fraud prevention team at HSBC. Definitely felt like a phishing scam to me!

Just got a message containing a one-time passcode for a payment of £542.89 directed to John Lewis. If you need help, the fraud hotline number is listed. The text was tacked on at the end of a bunch of previous transaction alerts I had received. Quite baffling!

I received a dodgy message claiming to be from HSBC, insisting there was an alleged transaction to Coinbase. It seemed rather off, to say the least!

Received a message from some bloke claiming to be Nigel, it came through a number that looks like it’s from HSBCUKPASCD. He mentioned an amount of £792.82 for something with AIRBNB. Just another nuisance, really!

What a muppet! So, Nigel decided to send me a cheeky message from the number on my HSBC card, claiming it was to "verify" that the number I was meant to ring was genuinely HSBC. They wanted me to share the code that they texted me. How dodgy does that sound?

I too received a rather dubious text from these folks, providing some kind of code and demanding 792.82 pounds under the guise of being affiliated with Airbnb. They even instructed me to ring a number if I wasn’t the one they were after. If you ask me, it’s clearly a scam! I took it upon myself to visit Airbnb’s official site, and while they do offer holiday rentals, I discovered there was no contact number listed. Definitely a scam; better to block them without a second thought!

I recently received a message purporting to be from HSBCUKPASCD regarding an Airbnb transaction for £595.50. Coincidentally, I had indeed arranged an Airbnb booking within the last fortnight, so I thought it best to give the number a ring. The chap on the other end, who identified himself as Nigel, began asking for my sort code, account digits, and the three-digit CVC from the reverse of my card, insisting that I enter these details using my phone's keypad. It quickly dawned on me that this was a scam of a high calibre, prompting me to take immediate action and cancel my cards. This individual was rather convincing and operated with a level of sophistication that’s concerning.

Received a message from HSBC requesting me to ring them regarding an Airbnb reservation. Odd, as I don’t even have an account with them. Seems a bit dodgy, doesn't it? Definitely feels like phishing; I’m clearly not the sort of catch they're after!

I received a text from a number claiming to be HSBCUKPASCD, supposedly regarding an Airbnb reservation that I have no knowledge of. They’ve requested me to ring them up, but the thing is, I haven’t made any booking, and I don’t even bank with HSBC. Plus, my Airbnb account doesn’t show anything at all. Quite puzzling!
