Just got a call from this other number, 0330 190 0290, and honestly, i'd say don't pick up. Seemed like the same lot from before, because when I said I was on my mum’s phone, they actually laughed! Then they started asking for all sorts - my name, age, where I live and even my current location. I ended it there and reported everything to the police. Definitely spooky!

I received a call from someone who seemed to have my details and assumed I was living in a council property, which is utterly wrong! I keep gettin calls from this number all the time, they just ring and hang up. When I rang them back and said I was Daniel Meverly, the way they spoke was really rude, not the least bit professional. Since then I've been phoning back and blocking the number with a 141 first. I reckon they've had loads of calls from ‘Daniel Meverly’ by now - no idea who that bloke is anyway!

Received a call from someone purporting to be linked with a Housing Association or Council Housing, discussing a “poorly executed claim”. To be honest, I couldn't quite grasp the distinction between the two organisations, nor did I see how a homeowner would even fill out a claim like that. It's infuriating dealing with these types - they’re always keen to pounce on the next dodgy scheme! I asked them to take my number off their roster, but I've gone ahead and blocked them regardless.

When I asked who she was exactly, she just kept repeating "housing maintenance" without giving a proper name. I told her straight up that it sounded like a scam and told her to get lost. She hung up on me after that. I've blocked the number now. Bit frustrating since I’d already blocked a similar one before but they still managed to get through.
