Got a text outta the blue about some verification code I’d supposedly requested, saying I was waiting in line. Seemed pretty convincing at first. I called the number back, and they acted like they had loads of my info already. After putting me on hold, they came back asking me to log into my Barclays and share my balance. That’s when I looked up the number online and landed on this site. Told the bloke that I knew it was a scam and ended the call sharpish.
