Ever since, I've been inundated with daily calls from this number purporting to offer "appliance insurance". Initially, they asked for my sort code under the guise of data protection, but of course, I provided a made-up one along with a fictitious name. Then, they insisted I provide my account number before they would consider sending out any information. I dodged that request with another bogus number, yet they seemed to be on to me, insisting that they'd only forward any details once they could authenticate my bank account. They claimed they could insure my washing machine, fridge-freezer, and cooker for just £14.99 a month, but were utterly resistant to revealing their identity or what precisely their coverage entailed until I divulged my bank details. They were even patient enough to hold on for over half an hour while I feigned searching for my bank card-definitely quite persistent. They stated their operation is located in Bournemouth, but I would strongly advise treating this as a scam.Bournemouth5 yearsReceived a rather pushy phone call from someone claiming they were extending my insurance for my washer, oven, and fridge-freezer.
