They keep cold calling, mostly on Mondays or Tuesdays, starting as early as 8 in the morning and don’t stop till around midday when they finally give up. Got a call from someone claiming to be working with the government about a pension check I was supposed to have. They asked if I’d had a review in the past two years. I didn’t want to share any details since it sounded fishy, and then they just cut me off. Bit unpleasant, really.

Just got a call from this number, it rang a couple of times then stopped, so I looked it up and stumbled across this handy site. Every time I get these cold calls from companies like this, I let loose with a proper string of swear words and call them every name under the sun. When they try to reply, I tell ‘em, "This was an unsolicited call, you called me first." Maybe one day, if they actually go home after a shift, they’ll have a moment thinking... what on earth am I doing with my life and won't bother ringing back. Proper muppets!

Thought I’d mess about a bit with these muppets. Got a ring and when the idiot said “confirm your details” I told him I couldn’t speak English (which I obviously can). After a good silence, he asked again to confirm, and I just said I don’t know any English but I liked his Greek. He let out a big sigh and then just dropped the call. Ha ha ha!

haha, that’s such a daft way to react, shouting at them with every insult you can think of! if the company isn’t actually dodgy, the person on the other end will just think you’re a bit daft and won’t take you off the list, so they’ll keep ringing. and if it’s a proper scam, they’re used to this crap all day long and all you’ll do is make them more keen to bug you, plus they might sell your details on cos you’ve been rude. either way, you’re the one who ends up worse off lol.
