Not sure who kept calling me but from what I read here it’s pretty clear, they phone nonstop every day but as soon as I pick up they just drop the call. Strange way to run things and expect people to come back! I’m also going to report them to the RAC so this stops happening.

Yeah, it’s definitely the RAC renewal line. They just call over and over but never leave a voicemail so you’re left guessing who it is. I ended up stopping my RAC direct debit since their website doesn’t let you cancel your policy online, so they keep phoning to sort out a new payment. I ditched the direct debit because they hiked up the price by 33% from last year but then rejoined as a new customer since they have a 50% discount for newbies, so now I’ve got a new membership at half the price they wanted from me as an existing member!

Yea, this is the RAC's payment number. They also ring from this one: 01454665000. I'm a retired mechanic and joined their breakdown service about 4 years ago paying £10 a month, now it’s shot up to £24. Honestly, I’ve never had to use it. I sent them an email complaint, but no reply even after 2 months, just loads of calls asking if I wanna start paying again. Every firm these days is like this, just after cash without giving much in return. Try canceling all subscriptions and see how quick they chase you!

Yeah, it was Rac, like others have mentioned, you can try to renew but you might still get annoying calls from them? And if you don’t renew, they won’t stop calling unless you BLOCK THIS NUMBER on your landline! Don’t forget to block it on your mobile too. This number keeps ringing me on both my home phone and mobile. Whenever I answer, they just cut off straight away. Looks like it could be one of those premium rate scams trying to get me to ring them back and rack up charges. I just don’t bother picking up now. rac just won’t stop ringing you even after you’ve renewed. definitely won’t be using them again. it’s the same old mess every year: they send a renewal letter with a jacked up price, tell you to call to haggle it down, then once you agree to stay, they keep phoning non stop for weeks after! proper numpties - should be sorting out breakdowns instead of hassling loyal customers who’ll just end up ditching them.
