This is definitely a dodgy call. I told my phone company about the number, so hopefully they'll block any more calls from it. If you want to report it too, just do this: - Send a text with the word 'Call' to 7726 - You'll get a message back asking for the number to report. Just reply with 0330 135 9943 and send it to 7726 again. They’ll send you a confirmation that the number has been reported to the network provider.

I can’t seem to shake off this incessant caller. It's relentless! You know the type - just a bloke behind a screen, attempting to swindle unsuspecting folks round the clock, likely earning a pittance in some dodgy basement at the ungodly hour of 3 AM. It's nothing but a scam. If you find yourself receiving calls from this pesky number, I strongly urge you to report it to 7726 (the service run by EE, Vodafone, Three, and O2). These chaps need to realise that most of us aren’t so easily duped, except perhaps the younger ones who might still be figuring it all out!

Caller claimed to be from SSE and tried to book a slot to fit a smart meter. I told them we already have one, then they changed it saying they wanted to replace it with a newer model. I just said I’m not the one who decides and then they hung up.

I told him since he’s calling about the smart meter, he should have all our info already. Please, stop these constant annoying calls.

Loads of folks say this number is linked to SSE, but a bloke named Adam, who sounded pretty uneasy, gave me a ring from it. When he asked if I was the one in charge, I fibbed and said the right person wasn’t around. Once off the phone, I went ahead and blocked the number.
