I got calls from the number 03300535867 too, and after a bit of hassle I decided to report it to Tesco Mobile. I even sent a text saying STOP LOAD and the caller replied that my subscription would end in a day. If it doesn’t stop, I’m thinking of halting my direct debit to Tesco Mobile until they fix this mess.

This lot charged me too. I rang my phone company to get them blocked and then phoned the firm asking them to take me off any marketing lists. No idea how I even ended up signed up for this, but it shows up on my statement as "premium and info services". Hopefully this information is useful to others.

I got dragged into some comp I had no clue about, cost me £4.50. I answered one question and then sent a stop message. Now I just got a call saying I won £500. They asked for my bank info but I declined. They mentioned the question I answered and wanted my email to send details on different ways to pay me, like PayPal or something. Didn't give them my email though.

Hey... So I've noticed that this number has been taking £3.75 out of my account every week for several months. Does anyone know a way to get it stopped? This is a total rip-off! You’ve been taking £4.50 from my account every single week for the past six months, and I never agreed to any of it or signed anything. Honestly, you lot are nothing but criminals. I’m dead set on getting my money back and won’t back down. Just spoke to one of your dodgy workers called Haley, and she gave me a fake email for your so-called refund process. There’s no clear way to claim my money back. You’re all just thieves, plain and simple.

Over 3 months my 11 year old's phone got charged 160, it's ridiculous. Shouldn't these phone companies be stopping scammers from texting through? I'm not paying another penny till I get my money back. If not, 3 can go ahead and take me to court.

This dodgy company kept bombarding my 11 year old daughter with loads of texts. Her phone has restrictions set up, so I don’t get how they’re even managing to get through. Surely the phone providers should be stepping in and stopping this? There’s no way I’ll be paying them a single penny more until I get my money back.

Beware of this firm, they sneak in a weekly fee of about £3 or £4 for what they call a ‘competition entry subscription’. It’s really dodgy how they get you to sign up - for us it happened just by clicking to close a pop-up ad on one of our business phones. Now I’m battling to get the money back. I’ll update you on whether they actually refund me or not!

Hey, someone charged me £10 for a couple of texts I never sent or asked for. Totally not cool!

It’s disgraceful how they’re ripping off innocent and vulnerable folks. Honestly, it’s just shameful. Over the last two months, they’ve taken £18 twice and another £10, with no explanation whatsoever. If anyone’s managed to get a refund from these crooks, I’d be amazed. Most people haven’t even realised their money’s been taken. Ken

I just noticed £15 has been charged on my phone bill for something I never agreed to or signed up for. I'm trying to get my provider to block this website now, fingers crossed they manage to put a stop to it. As a pensioner, I really can't afford to be losing cash like this.

Hi there, I’m getting in touch because I recently noticed some charges from your company on my bank statement which I didn’t authorise. I haven’t signed up or used any of your services, so I’m quite concerned about this. Could you please arrange to refund the money that was taken without my permission as soon as possible? Many thanks for your help. Baljit Kaur 07988786522

My lad’s pay-as-you-go credit keeps disappearing thanks to this prize draw outfit. He uses loads of apps with in-app buys, and that’s how they got his number. He’s only 11 and really only needs his phone for emergencies, but because his credit’s been used up, he couldn’t call us when his bus broke down and he was stuck at school until a teacher contacted us. It’s just not on that these so-called ‘legal’ scam companies charge you just for receiving a text. How is Ofcom letting this happen? That’s my rant done.

My lad’s pay-as-you-go credit got wiped out by some prize draw firm. He uses apps with in-game buys, and that’s how they got hold of his number. He’s only 11 and really needs his phone just for emergencies. He couldn’t call us when his bus broke down and had to wait at school until a teacher rang us. It’s shocking that these so-called legit scam companies charge you just to receive a text. How come Ofcom is letting this happen? Just needed to vent.

I don’t remember ever signing up for any service but somehow they've billed me £4.50 for each text I didn’t even open??? How is this legal? I tried texting STOP to 6004_ and now it looks like they want to charge me for that too!!

This number is connected to a firm named "SB7 Mobile Ltd" that runs what I'd call a sort of “legit scam”. You probably handed over your phone number at some point when signing up for something or making a purchase - maybe inside a game - and either agreed to your details being shared or, like me, just didn’t opt out properly. They do let you ring the number to opt out of getting premium texts, and if you follow the phone options, you’ll get a message saying no more texts will be sent. Up to now, it looks like that actually works(?). My network (Virgin) told me they couldn’t block the texts as they originate from "700046123”. The regulator, PhonepayPlus, doesn’t seem to have the power to shut these down, and mobile companies, who’d get a share of these premium fees, don't seem bothered to take action either.

If you want to avoid getting charged, text STOP right away. Afterwards, give the number above a ring; someone will answer and explain how to file a complaint. At first, I was worried that sending STOP might actually make me pay more, but it’s the opposite. The company’s terms are here: http://juicywin.com/terms_and_conditions2.php#15 I got billed £72 on my phone without even realising it, and now I’m planning to get that money back. To complain, send an email to [email protected] Make sure you include your full name, the phone number that got charged, your email and address, plus a copy of your phone bill showing where the charges are.

They really ought to ring you back so you can clear things up. They keep saying you must’ve signed up, but once you give them a bell, they should back off. Honestly, feels like they’re run by some dodgy, money-hungry crooks. Just taking cash for sweet nowt, fleecing pensioners left and right. Even the Krays had a bit more decency than these lot.

I want to get my money back because I've got a contract with O2 Mobile that says I should be paying between £16 and £50 each month. But instead, I keep getting charged £46 every month. Then this MintedMobi.com or SB7mobile keeps sending me texts and somehow they’ve taken around £60 from my bank. It’s really frustrating!

I took part in a Tesco raffle, and now I keep getting texts from mintedmobi saying they'll charge me £4.50 weekly. I've tried replying with 'STOP' to the number they sent but nothing's happening.
