This number, 07529 666579, texted me and it’s definitely a scam. Looks like another one of those dodgy numbers that haven’t been reported yet. Stay clear!

Totally a con job, honestly. They've used loads of different numbers, all saying something about my Nationwide account supposedly opening an iPhone deal. What a joke, I dont even have an account there or do any banking with Nationwide! It's just a bunch of scams. Please dont bother responding.

Got a message like many others here, claiming a new iPhone was linked to my Nationwide account. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Nationwide! The text asked me to ring this number (03301331915) if it wasn’t me. No way I’m calling that number - feels like a scam trying to trick me into giving away my private details or bank info. Definitely seems dodgy and I'd warn others not to fall for it.

Got a call about some new iPhone linked to my Nationwide account, which I don't even have. Pretty clear it's a scam. Just be careful out there.

Got a text earlier saying I’d apparently linked a new iPhone 8 to my Nationwide mobile banking app and if it wasn’t me, to ring 0330 133 1915 for their fraud team. Problem is, I’m not even a Nationwide customer! I checked their official website, found their fraud helpline, and called to double-check just to be safe. Thankfully, they had no record of anything dodgy linked to me. I flagged the message as spam and blocked the number straight away. It’s so frustrating we have to deal with these sneaky scam attempts all the time.

Got a text from 07979 829745 saying they were Nationwide, claiming some iPhone was added to my account. They told me to call them if I hadn’t done it. I checked with Nationwide and they said that number isn’t theirs at all - just a phishing scam trying to get info.

Got a message saying someone had bought something with my iPhone 7, and if it wasn't me, I should ring this number. Thing is, I don’t even own an iPhone, so I knew straight away it was probably a scam.

I got a dodgy text that said there’d been a new phone linked to my Nationwide online banking, and this number popped up as part of the scam. Really dodgy stuff, so watch out for it!

I recieved a message saying it was from HSBC but it came from a mobile, 07538 630034. Since I actually bank with HSBC, I took it seriously at first. The text read something like "HSBCUK: Your registration code for Google Pay is 'blah'. It expires in 10 minutes. If you didn't ask for this, call 0330 133 1915." Seems to me this is a scam trying to trick real HSBC customers into giving away private info when they ring back. People really need to watch out for stuff like this!

I got a message from 07487 627779, which included a code intended for me to provide to my bank for a payment related to Airbnb. It also had a 0330 number included for me to call if it wasn't actually me. <br/><br/>Steer clear of this one! Total spam!

Got a text about a transaction with HSBC but I dont even have an account with them, so its obviously a scam. The message said something like: "HSBC: Your code is 904125 for a payment of £1095.20 to AIRBNB. If this wasn't you, ring 0330 133 1915, ref N7290." Totally dodgy, no way I’d fall for that!

If you get a call out of the blue, the safest bet is to ring back using the number printed on your bank card. It’s not always clear if it’s a scam or a genuine caller, so it’s better not to take any risks. If you suspect it’s a scam, you can text the details to 7726, which is what the police ACTION FRAUD phishing site recommends. They might reply asking for the info again. Bank scams can be really harmful, so it pays to be cautious.

Seems like a scam call pretending to be from HSBC. Be careful!

0330 133 1915 called me claiming to be HSBC, saying there was a charge over £1000 to Airbnb on my account and if I didn’t authorise it, I should ring them back. I’ve never had an account with HSBC or used their services, so it’s clearly a scam trying to steal my banking details. Best to ignore and report these calls immediately.
