I keep getting calls from a call centre but no one talks when I answer. The voicemails they leave have people talking in the background, which is really odd.

Lately ive had loads of calls from 0330 127 numbers that keep changing. The weird thing is they usually get my name right but jump straight into saying something about a credit report or owing money to a firm. As soon as I tell them I dont owe anything, they just hang up. Ive been blacklisting the numbers fast as they come, but the very next day another one rings. And if you dont pick up, theres never a voicemail or anything. Its driving me mad!

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from the social care and public health ‘de-vaccination service’. He wanted to know if I’d had all my jabs. I just ended the call straight away.

I had an unwelcome call from someone claiming to represent the "Credit Investigation Department," offering to help me "consolidate 75% of my debts." It was clearly a scam! I've had enough of these dodgy tactics, so I've blocked the number without a second thought.

Sadly, you can’t file scam reports directly through the police’s ‘action fraud’ website anymore - that option has been shut down, probably to save money. If you’re bothered by this, maybe mention it to your MP. You can still send scam text screenshots to the cyber crime unit by emailing them at '[email protected]', and forwarding them to 7726 also helps.

Just got a voicemail from a woman, but all I could hear was her breathing heavily into the phone, so weird 😂

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the "Credit Investigation Department." When I asked which company they were with, they got all dodgy and irritated. I pressed a bit more, and they just kept pushing me to "combine all my debts." I said I wasn’t interested and started to suspect it was some sort of scam. They got pretty mad and ended the call abruptly. I’ve blocked the number since then.
