On Saturday 25th Jan around 7:30 pm, I got a call from someone claiming to be from British Gas trying to schedule an appointment with an energy advisor. I said I wasn't interested but the caller kept pushing, asking if I wanted to pick a time slot - morning, afternoon or evening. I told him again I didn’t want it and ended the call.

I looked them up here first, then just went ahead and blocked and removed the number.

Got a call on Saturday evening, 25th Jan 2025 at about 6:21pm. The person said they were from British Gas and wanted to set up an appointment soon with an energy advisor because of the energy price cap changes. I just ended the call straight away.
